About the hovering facility

What is a Hovering Facility (Emergency Rescue Space)?

This condominium has a hovering facility on the rooftop to respond to emergency disasters. "Hovering" refers to a helicopter stopping in mid-air. In the center of the hovering facility is an "R" mark, the initial of "Rescue," signifying an emergency rescue space, and helicopters cannot land or take off there. Therefore, helicopters perform rescue operations by hovering.

Also, there is a similar term, "heliport," which means a place where helicopters can land and take off.

Roles and Objectives

The hovering facility aims to facilitate rescue and firefighting activities during fires.

In the event of a fire in a high-rise condominium, ladder trucks have a height limit for rescue operations. By installing a hovering facility, helicopters can perform rescue activities from above. Furthermore, in conjunction with the effectiveness of other firefighting facilities such as emergency access points and emergency elevators, the disaster prevention performance of the condominium is enhanced.
