概要

かねてよりアンケートにていただいておりました、「交流イベントがあれば参加したい」「さまざまな文化的背景を持つ住民と話す機会がほしい」といったご要望にお応えし、このたび Language Cafeを開催いたします！

イベント内容

本イベントは、ファシリテーターが進行する少人数制のグループで、英語と日本語を使いながら、レベルに応じたテーマに沿って会話やアクティビティを楽しんでいただくオンラインのLanguage Cafeです。
グループは「初級」と「中級」に分かれており、ご自身に合ったレベルでご参加いただきます。

初級グループでは、簡単な自己紹介や、アクティビティを行います！

ファシリテーターが会話の進行をサポートしますので、英語に自信がない方でも安心してご参加いただけます。

中級グループでは、趣味・文化・旅行などのテーマに沿って、より自由な会話を楽しんでいただきます！

すべて英語で話す必要はなく、会話のヒントやキーワードもご用意しておりますので、どなたでも気軽にご参加いただけます。

※本イベントは英語のレッスンを目的としたものではなく、ファシリテーターを交えながら、英語を通じたコミュニケーションや国際的な交流を楽しんでいただくことを目的としております。あらかじめご了承ください。

Overview

In response to the feedback we’ve received through past surveys—such as “I want more opportunities to talk with residents from diverse cultural backgrounds”—we are pleased to introduce our new Language Cafe!

Event Details

This is an online Language Cafe where small groups will engage in English and Japanese conversations and activities, guided by a facilitator. Participants will be divided into groups based on either beginner or intermediate English levels.

＊Please note that this is not an English lesson, but an opportunity to enjoy communication and cross-cultural exchange in English, supported by a facilitator. Thank you for your understanding.

＊When joining the event via Zoom, you have the option to change the name that is displayed on screen. You are not required to use your real name, so please feel free to set the name you would like to use during the event before joining.

Eligibility

This event is open exclusively to members registered on our portal.
If you are a registered member, you are welcome to join. (Click here to register.)
Participants under the age of 18 must have parental consent.

How to Join

After reading and agreeing to the event notes, please submit your registration.
